STANLEY 70-953E 23mm Combination Spanner in Kapurthala

STANLEY 70-953E Specifications

The 270mm overall length is useful when assessing hand clearance and reach around machinery. Confirm available space before choosing the tool: a 23mm jaw size does not by itself establish that the spanner will fit into a recessed or obstructed location.

How This 23mm Combination Spanner Is Used

Open-End Access

The open jaw is useful when the fastener can be approached from the side or when components restrict ring-end placement. Fit the jaw fully over the flats and avoid applying force when the wrench is poorly seated, or the nut's edges are damaged.

Ring-End Engagement

Use the ring end when it can be positioned completely over the fastener head. It surrounds more of the head than the open jaw, which can help maintain engagement during normal manual tightening or loosening. Choose the access side according to the machinery layout and condition of the fastener.

Check the Fastener Size Before Ordering

The '23mm' designation refers to the distance across the opposite flats of the hexagonal nut or bolt head, not necessarily the nominal thread diameter of the bolt. Check the actual fastener with a suitable measuring tool or refer to your equipment's fastener specification. Do not assume that every M16 or other nominal bolt size requires a 23mm spanner: head dimensions depend on the fastener standard and design.
For procurement teams standardising tools, use the manufacturer part number 70-953E, jaw size 23mm, and physical dimensions to avoid ordering a neighbouring metric size that cannot seat correctly.

Suitable Workshop and Maintenance Requirements

This model can be considered for routine non-impact manual fastening and removal of compatible 23mm hexagonal nuts and bolt heads in engineering workshops, machinery maintenance, equipment assembly and fleet or vehicle servicing. Suitability depends on the actual fastener specification, physical working clearance and the procedure established for the equipment.
A combination spanner is not a substitute for a calibrated torque wrench when a joint requires a specified tightening torque. This model has no independently confirmed maximum torque rating for this page. Do not use extension pipes or strike the spanner to increase force; use an appropriate approved tool for seized fasteners or impact work.

Pack Price, Kapurthala Ordering and Delivery

Indus MegaMart lists this product in a pack of five pieces. Compare quotations on a like-for-like basis: prices for a single STANLEY 70-953E spanner are not directly equivalent to a five-piece pack price. The current GST-inclusive pack amount and stock position should be taken from the live National Product Detail Page rather than from an old quotation or another seller's offer.
For orders where the requested quantity is within available stock, the stated delivery window is within 7 days. If the requested quantity is greater than available stock, including when stock is zero, orders and payment are still accepted and the delivery window is 7–14 days, as set out in Indus MegaMart's order policy. Check the Kapurthala delivery pincode and the live checkout information for the selected pack quantity.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I know whether the STANLEY 70-953E will fit my bolt or nut?

Measure the head across two opposite flats. The STANLEY 70-953E is intended for a 23mm metric hexagonal head, subject to safe access and fastener condition. The bolt's thread diameter alone is not enough to select a spanner.

2. What is included when I order this product from Indus MegaMart?

The currently listed selling unit is a pack of five 23mm STANLEY 70-953E combination spanners. Review the live cart line before checkout to confirm the selected pack and total quantity.

3. Is the open end or ring end better for my task?

The open jaw gives side access where a ring cannot be placed over the head. The ring end surrounds more of the fastener and is generally preferable when it can be fully seated. Neither should be used on an incorrectly sized or severely damaged head.

4. Can I order if the product shows zero units in stock?

Yes. Under Indus MegaMart's stated ordering policy, customers can place orders and complete payment even when available stock is zero. The stated delivery window for this condition is 7–14 days.

5. What material and dimensions does this model have?

The 70-953E is a chrome vanadium steel combination spanner with a matte finish and a 270mm overall length. Its open-end head outer width is approximately 49mm, its ring-end head outer width is approximately 34mm, and one spanner weighs approximately 260g.

6. Can I use it to tighten a joint to a precise torque value?

Use an appropriate calibrated torque wrench when the equipment procedure calls for a specific torque. The STANLEY 70-953E is a manual combination spanner; no model-specific calibrated torque setting is established in this listing.

7. Can this pack be ordered for a Kapurthala maintenance team or workshop?

Yes. The listed five-piece pack is suitable for buyers who require multiple matching 23mm hand spanners. Confirm the required number of packs, delivery pincode and live selling price through the purchase page.
