Buy STANLEY 70-387E 18x19mm Shallow-Offset Bi-Hex Ring Spanner in Hyderabad

Order Details for Hyderabad Buyers

Indus MegaMart's listed selling unit is a pack of 10 identical 70-387E spanners, not a mixed-size toolkit or an individual-piece purchase. Each spanner has an 18mm ring at one end and a 19mm ring at the other. Confirm the quantity of ten-piece packs required for your technicians or store inventory before checkout.
Review the current product price, GST breakup, stock display and delivery details on the exact National Product Page. The amount shown for a pack is different from a price quoted by another seller for just one spanner. An Indus MegaMart invoice includes the company's GST number; business purchasers can provide their billing details during the order process.

Technical Specifications — STANLEY 70-387E

The A, A1, B and B1 figures are dimension labels on the STANLEY technical drawing; they describe the tool's illustrated head geometry, not extra jaw sizes. For work close to housings, guards or brackets, check the available space against the head dimensions as well as the 275mm overall length.

Choosing the Correct 18mm / 19mm Ring Spanner

Confirm the Fastener's Across-Flats Size

The 18mm ring fits an 18mm across-flats metric hex head; the 19mm ring fits a 19mm across-flats head. These measurements refer to the nut or bolt-head width, not the bolt's thread diameter. Do not select a ring spanner solely from a thread designation such as M12 or M14: head sizes vary by specification and application. Measure the actual hex head or consult the fastener drawing first.

Decide Whether a Shallow Offset Has Enough Clearance

The two enclosed ring ends help engage the fastener from around its hexagonal head. The shallow offset raises each working head relative to the handle, which can help when the fastener sits near a flat surface and a straight tool would leave limited hand clearance. It is not a substitute for a deep-offset spanner or a socket when a long protruding stud or recessed position obstructs full ring seating. Check access from above and the surrounding swing space before ordering.

Where This Model Fits Industrial Maintenance

The 70-387E is a practical choice for manual assembly and routine servicing of appropriately sized hex fasteners on machine frames, maintenance fixtures, automotive workshop equipment and mechanical brackets. For repeat workstations, a pack of ten can distribute one model consistently among toolboxes or technicians. These are examples of potential use, not claims that this product is certified for every machine or has been supplied to any named site.

Ring Spanner Versus Other Wrench Types

A correctly seated bi-hex ring surrounds the fastener, unlike an open-jaw wrench that contacts it from the sides and can be removed laterally. The 12-point geometry offers several engagement positions when the handle cannot rotate freely. A combination spanner may be better when both open-jaw access and one ring end are needed; a socket and extension may be preferable for deeply recessed nuts or high obstructions. If a measured, specified tightening torque is required, use a suitable calibrated torque wrench—not this standard manual spanner as a torque-measurement device.

Handling and Fit Checks Before Use

Seat the correct-size ring completely over undamaged fastener flats. Keep it aligned with the fastener and avoid using cheater pipes, hammer blows or power/impact drives with this manual spanner. A shallow-offset shape does not guarantee access to every recess. If the fastener is rounded, spline-shaped, Torx, square-headed or an incompatible imperial size, choose a tool designed for that profile instead. Inspect the spanner and working area before applying force.
For other ring sizes or tool configurations, explore the Indus MegaMart spanner range, the STANLEY brand selection or the wider hand-tools category. Select by verified head size, access geometry and required purchase quantity rather than brand name alone.

Questions Hyderabad Buyers Ask

Does the 70-387E have two different ring sizes?

Yes. Every STANLEY 70-387E spanner has an 18mm ring at one end and a 19mm ring at the other; it is not two separate tools.

Does the Indus MegaMart listing sell one piece or ten?

The current Indus MegaMart listing identifies a pack of 10 identical spanners. Review the pack quantity on the product page before purchasing; single-piece offers on other websites are different commercial units.

Is the tool 275mm long?

Yes. The STANLEY-branded technical sheet and independent retailer specifications identify an overall length of 275mm for model 70-387E.

Can I use it on an M12 or M14 bolt?

Only if the actual bolt head or nut measures 18mm or 19mm across its flats and the profile is compatible. The thread designation by itself is not sufficient to confirm spanner fit.

Can a 12-point ring be used on a Torx or spline fastener?

No. The bi-hex ring is designed for correctly sized conventional hex fasteners, not Torx or spline profiles.

Can I order for a Hyderabad address when the stock shown is insufficient?

Yes. Indus MegaMart accepts orders and payment even if the displayed available stock does not cover the quantity required. When the order exceeds available stock, including zero stock, the stated delivery window is 7–14 days, subject to the delivery PIN code.

Will the price shown include GST, and can my business receive an invoice?

The National Product Page displays a GST breakup and a total inclusive of GST. Indus MegaMart's purchase invoice contains the company's GST number. Check the latest total for the complete ten-piece pack before payment.

Is this suitable for impact work or precision torque tightening?

No. This is a manual ring spanner, not an impact accessory or a calibrated torque wrench. Use the appropriate specialized tool when either requirement applies.
