STANLEY STMT60845-8 Technical Specifications

Where a T15 × 100mm Torx Screwdriver Is Useful

Choose T15 when equipment documentation or a fastener gauge confirms a T15 Torx recess. The matching six-lobed profile engages the correct screw head and, with controlled hand pressure, can limit driver slipping compared with a mismatched tip. The 100mm blade offers working reach for many accessible and modestly recessed fasteners; it does not guarantee access in every enclosure.

Typical Buyer Applications

• Maintenance work on mechanical equipment covers and access panels fitted with T15 Torx screws.
• Automotive interior or accessory fasteners where the manufacturer specifies Torx T15.
• Workshop assembly and service procedures that call for hand tightening or removal of T15 screws.
• Electrical enclosure components only after appropriate de-energising and verified isolation; this is not a certified insulated screwdriver.

Safety and fit: Check the head recess, shaft clearance and torque requirement. Do not use T15 in tamper-resistant Torx screws with a centre pin unless the tool is specifically compatible. Avoid using the screwdriver for prying, chiselling or work on live electrical conductors.

Selecting T10, T15 or T20 Correctly

Torx sizes are different fastener interfaces, not interchangeable blade-length alternatives. Choose the specified screw-head size first; then confirm access depth and working clearance.

Delivery, Order Acceptance and Bulk Requirements in West Bengal

Indus MegaMart provides a pincode-check field for the national listing. Its stated order policy accepts orders and payments even when the quantity requested exceeds displayed inventory or available stock is zero. For quantities within available stock, delivery is stated as within 7 days; for quantities exceeding available stock, including zero-stock situations, it states 7–14 days. These are seller-stated conditional windows, not a guaranteed ETA for every West Bengal address. Confirm the live pincode result and checkout information.
A 12-piece pack can be suitable for maintenance teams, assembly benches and repeat procurement. Confirm pack count and stock-sensitive fulfilment details before bulk or recurring orders.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is STMT60845-8 a Torx T15 or a slotted screwdriver?

It is a six-lobed standard Torx T15 screwdriver. It is not a flat-head/slotted, Phillips or Pozidriv driver.

2. What does T15 × 100mm mean?

T15 identifies the Torx tip size; 100mm is the listed blade length, not the overall tool length.

3. Is the blade chrome vanadium?

Yes. The STANLEY OEM page identifies high-grade chrome vanadium for this exact part number.

4. Is the tip magnetic?

Yes. The official STANLEY product listing confirms a magnetic tip.

4.Is the national listing for one screwdriver?

No. Indus MegaMart lists a pack of 12. The manufacturer's product description separately refers to one physical screwdriver.

5. Is ₹104 the total price for one piece?

No. ₹104 is the stated before-GST unit rate inside the 12-piece pack. The displayed pack total is ₹1,473 including GST; verify the live checkout price.

6. Can I use it for tamper-proof Torx fasteners?

Not unless the screw interface and the exact driver tip are compatible. Standard T15 and tamper-resistant Torx are not automatically interchangeable.

7. Can this cushion-grip screwdriver be used on live electrical circuits?

Do not treat a cushion grip as certified insulation. Isolate electrical equipment and use a suitably certified insulated tool whenever the procedure requires electrical protection.

8. Will a 100mm blade reach every recessed screw?

No. Reach depends on the screw position, enclosure geometry, shaft clearance and work angle.

9. Can I purchase it for West Bengal delivery even if stock is low?

The merchant states that orders and payment can proceed even when the requested quantity exceeds stock. Enter your West Bengal pincode and review the displayed delivery and checkout conditions.

10. What if I need T10 or T20 instead?

Compare STMT60844-8 (T10 × 75mm) or STMT60847-8 (T20 × 100mm); do not substitute one Torx size for another.
