STANLEY FMMT13086-0 FATMAX 13mm Ratcheting Wrench in Tamil Nadu - Pack of 10

What Makes the FMMT13086-0 Useful for Repetitive Fastening?

A conventional ring spanner must often be lifted and reset after each turn. The ratcheting end of the FMMT13086-0 lets the technician make repeated strokes while keeping the ring around a correctly sized hexagonal fastener. Its 72 teeth provide a 5° return arc; that figure describes the ratchet's operating increment, not a guarantee of the clearance around every nut. The low-profile direction switch allows the working direction to be changed without flipping the entire wrench over.
The open end offers a different way to approach a fastener where the ring cannot be slipped over the head. STANLEY describes an anti-slip contact design and a MaxiDrive profile, intended to improve contact with the fastener. Both the open and ratcheting ring ends are offset by 15°, giving an alternative approach angle in assemblies with adjacent components. These features are particularly useful where the user has confirmed both the 13mm head size and adequate space for the wrench body.

Key Technical Specifications

The 13mm size refers to the distance across the flats of the nut or bolt head, not automatically to the diameter of its threaded shaft. A bolt with a particular metric thread size can have a different head dimension depending on its specification. Confirm the actual head measurement before ordering. No model-specific rated torque, overall length or weight is stated here because a reliable manufacturer-confirmed value has not been established for this listing.

Where This 13mm Ratcheting Wrench Fits

Plant and workshop maintenance

For routine checks and reassembly of machinery guards, service covers and appropriately sized brackets, the ratcheting ring end can reduce repeated lift-and-reset movements. A technician working through multiple similar 13mm fasteners may benefit from having a dedicated wrench at each service station. The correct tool choice still depends on the required tightening torque and the maintenance procedure.

Automotive and mechanical servicing

Some automotive and mechanical assemblies have closely spaced components that limit handle movement. The small ratchet increment can be helpful for accessible 13mm hex heads in these situations. The wrench is manually operated and should not be described as an impact, insulated or calibrated torque tool.

Equipping multiple technicians

The merchant's ten-piece pack is suited to procurement orders requiring ten identical 13mm tools. This is not a set of ten different wrench sizes. If your maintenance crew needs a mixture of 8mm, 10mm, 12mm or other sizes, select the appropriate models separately from the spanner range rather than assuming they are included in this pack.

Choosing Between the Ratcheting End and a Standard Wrench

The ratcheting ring end is useful when repeated fastening strokes are needed with limited reset space. A non-ratcheting combination spanner has a simpler solid-ring arrangement, while a socket and ratchet may be easier where a socket fits over the fastener and an extension is useful. The open end on this FATMAX wrench is a practical alternative if the ring approach is obstructed.
For a seized or heavily tightened fastener, use the correctly rated loosening equipment and follow the assembly manufacturer's procedure rather than subjecting a compact ratchet mechanism to excessive breakaway force. For final tightening to a specified value, use an appropriately calibrated torque wrench. Never extend the handle with a pipe or strike it to increase leverage.

Check Fit, Quantity and Tamil Nadu Delivery Before Buying

Confirm the fastener and access

Match the tool to a 13mm metric hexagonal fastener head, inspect the head for damage, and verify that the ring end or open end can engage securely. A worn or rounded head may need a different removal approach. A nearby wall or bracket may prevent the ring head from fitting even if the 5° ratchet increment would otherwise be useful.

Understand the ten-piece purchase unit

Indus MegaMart lists one selling pack containing ten wrenches of the same 13mm model. Compare prices on that basis: a competitor offering a single wrench is not offering the same quantity as a ten-piece pack. The product's live purchase panel provides the current GST-inclusive selling price, while the underlying price and availability can change. Review the quantity shown at checkout before payment.

Delivery when available stock is low or zero

Orders and payment can be accepted even if available inventory does not cover the requested quantity. Under Indus MegaMart's stated ordering policy, delivery is within seven days when the ordered quantity is within available stock. Where the order exceeds available stock—including when available stock is zero—the stated delivery window is 7–14 days. Check your Tamil Nadu pincode and the checkout details; do not interpret a headline advertising stock as proof of immediate dispatch.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is FMMT13086-0 a 13mm wrench or a complete multi-size set?

FMMT13086-0 is one 13mm metric wrench model. The Indus MegaMart offer is a pack of ten identical 13mm wrenches, not a mixed-size spanner assortment.

2. What does the 72-tooth ratchet specification mean?

It allows a 5° operating increment at the ratcheting ring end. This helps when the handle has limited room to move but does not establish a specific torque rating.

3. Does the ratcheting wrench work in both directions?

Yes. The ring-end ratchet is reversible using a low-profile direction switch, so the user can select the appropriate fastening direction.

4. Will 13mm fit every M8 bolt?

No universal thread-to-head-size match should be assumed. Measure or verify the hex head across its flats; the wrench is specified by the 13mm head size rather than a promised thread designation.

5. Can I use the wrench to break loose a seized nut?

Do not use the ratchet mechanism for uncontrolled high-breakaway loads. Follow the service procedure and use a suitable breaker tool or other rated equipment where necessary.

6. Is the 13mm FATMAX wrench suitable for a maintenance department in Tamil Nadu?

It is a reasonable option for manual fastening tasks involving correctly sized 13mm heads, particularly repeated work with limited handle swing. Confirm task suitability and the quantity your team requires.

7. Does zero stock prevent placing an order?

No. Indus MegaMart's order policy permits payment even when available stock is zero; the applicable delivery window in that case is 7–14 days, subject to the order and pincode details.

8. How should I compare its price with other online offers?

Compare the GST-inclusive cost for ten identical wrenches with the price of ten units from a seller quoting per piece. Also compare delivery timing, availability and any relevant return or warranty terms rather than comparing the displayed headline prices alone.

9. Is the warranty duration confirmed for this seller's offer?

Warranty conditions depend on the applicable manufacturer and seller terms. Check the terms provided for this exact item at purchase rather than relying on a warranty period shown on another regional website.
