The model to specify is STMT87434-8, with a nominal length of 300mm (12 inches) and a chrome-plated finish. STANLEY STMT87434-8 Specifications and Working Features

The knurled adjuster lets the movable jaw adapt to different across-flat dimensions without switching between several fixed-size spanners. The tension spring helps stabilise the jaw while the tool is being set on a fastener. The etched scale supports preliminary sizing, although the jaw should always be seated firmly against the nut or bolt before force is applied.

Suitable Applications and Selection Considerations

This 300mm model is useful for tightening and loosening hexagonal nuts, bolt heads and hex-sided fittings encountered in mechanical servicing, plant upkeep, equipment installation and general maintenance. A longer handle can provide more leverage than a compact wrench, but the choice should still be based on fastener access, the available working space and the actual tightening requirement.

Check Jaw Fit Before Purchase

The listed 36mm jaw opening is the maximum across-flat opening, not the tool's handle width or the thread diameter of a bolt. Measure the flats of the fastener you need to grip. A correctly sized fixed spanner or socket may be preferable for repeated work on one fastener size, while an adjustable spanner is useful when servicing several sizes with one tool.

Know the Tool's Limits

An adjustable spanner is not a calibrated torque wrench. Do not use it to certify a specified tightening torque, strike the handle, fit an extension pipe or apply force when the jaws are loose. It is also not a substitute for a serrated pipe wrench when gripping smooth round pipe. For high-torque or safety-critical joints, follow the equipment manufacturer's specified tool and tightening procedure.

Delhi Delivery, Quantity and GST Invoice

Indus MegaMart accepts orders and payment even when the requested quantity is above current available stock. For quantities up to available stock, delivery is within 7 days; when the ordered quantity exceeds available stock, including when stock is zero, delivery is within 7–14 days. Check the delivery PIN code and the latest stock information before placing your order.
The purchase invoice includes the company's GST number. Use your required business billing details at checkout where applicable. If procuring multiple tools for an organisation, confirm the seller's chargeable unit, quantity and total GST-inclusive amount on the final order review; a manufacturer's carton quantity is not automatically the store's minimum order.
