STANLEY 70-946E 16mm Combination Spanner

Order the Correct 16mm STANLEY Spanner Pack

The listed sale unit contains 10 spanners of the same 16 mm model, not ten different metric sizes. Before ordering, confirm the model number 70-946E, the required 16 mm across-flats fastener size and the number of packs your team needs.
For worksite and plant procurement, it is worth checking both the wrench size and whether access around the fastener is sufficient. A 16 mm tool is selected by the width across the flats of the nut or bolt head; do not choose it solely from the nominal bolt thread diameter.

STANLEY 70-946E Technical Specifications

The 210 mm overall length and head dimensions are useful when evaluating tool storage and the space available around a fastening point. The dimensions describe the hand tool itself, not an approved tightening-torque range.

Where a 16mm Combination Spanner Is Useful

The 70-946E suits manual turning of correctly sized hexagonal nuts and bolt heads during equipment servicing, machine assembly, installation and routine workshop repairs. The open end can be repositioned between short turns where the ring end cannot readily pass over the fastener. Where there is room to seat it completely, the ring end offers more engagement around the fastener head.
Its anti-slip open-end design and Maxi-Drive profile are intended to help grip the fastener while reducing the chance of rounding under appropriate manual use. Tool selection still depends on the condition of the fastener, access clearance and correct fitting size; no hand spanner can compensate for a badly damaged head.

Check Fit and Working Clearance

Measure the fastener across its parallel flats. If it measures 16 mm, check that the chosen end of the spanner can be seated fully without contacting nearby components. The open-end and ring-end external dimensions differ, which matters around closely spaced fittings and recessed fasteners.
Use a correctly rated torque wrench where a specified tightening torque must be achieved or checked. This combination spanner is a manual turning tool, not a torque-measuring instrument or impact accessory. Avoid hammering the handle, fitting a leverage extension or using a worn tool on a rounded fastener.

Questions About STANLEY 70-946E in Maharashtra

1. Is 70-946E a 16mm spanner or a mixed-size spanner set?

It is the 16 mm STANLEY 70-946E combination spanner. Indus MegaMart's listed pack contains 10 pieces of this same model, rather than an assorted-size set.

2. Can I purchase 70-946E when available stock shows zero?

Yes. Indus MegaMart accepts orders and payment even when available stock is zero. Under that condition, the stated delivery timeline is 7–14 days, subject to the delivery-pincode check.

3. What is the length of the STANLEY 70-946E?

The overall tool length is 210 mm. The ring-end outside width is 25.5 mm and the open-end outside head width is 37.5 mm, which can help when checking work-area clearance.

4. Will the 16mm spanner fit every M10 bolt?

Not necessarily. Select this spanner from the actual 16 mm across-flats measurement of the bolt head or nut. Thread designation alone does not establish a safe wrench fit for every fastener standard or head style.

5. Is this spanner suitable for impact work or torque verification?

No. It is intended for appropriate manual spanner use. Use impact-rated tools for impact work and an appropriately calibrated torque wrench when a prescribed tightening torque must be measured or achieved.

6. How do I compare the Maharashtra price with a single-piece online offer?

Check the selling unit first. This listing is for a pack of 10, and the final payable amount should be compared against ten individual spanners with the relevant GST and delivery charges taken into account.
