Check the exact 10mm product and current Indus MegaMart offer

The National Product Detail Page was displaying ₹5,605 including 18% GST for ten pieces at the research snapshot on 26 October 2026. That is ₹4,750 before GST plus ₹855 GST for the pack, or ₹560.50 per tool including GST when the pack total is divided by ten. The merchant's ₹475-per-piece figure is before GST, not the delivered per-piece amount. These figures are an observation, not a locked quote: the Kolhapur City Page should obtain its actual live selling price from the same National PDP rather than maintain an independent price.
The National PDP displayed zero available units when reviewed. Under Indus MegaMart's stated order policy, you can still place an order and make payment when available stock is zero. Delivery is within 7 days if the ordered quantity is no greater than available stock, and within 7–14 days when the order exceeds available stock, including zero-stock orders. Confirm your Kolhapur PIN code and live purchase details through the exact product link below. A zero-stock display must not be confused with a ban on ordering or a promise of immediate dispatch.

What should an institutional buyer confirm?

Use STMT89936-8B as the procurement identifier, and specify 10mm metric head size and the required number of ten-piece selling packs. Verify the live GST price, chosen quantity, billing requirements and delivery location on the merchant page. If an order needs a precise arrival date, confirm it against the merchant's available-stock quantity rather than relying on a blanket dispatch statement.

Manufacturer-backed specifications for STMT89936-8B

STANLEY's official India listing also references IOS 1711-1, IOS 691 and DIN 3113. Those strings are reproduced as the manufacturer's published reference; they do not establish independent testing or a particular certification for the Indus MegaMart sale. A manufacturer's tool-level package containing one spanner does not contradict a reseller supplying ten of that model in a commercial pack.

What does the 5° increment mean in practice?

After each engaged movement, the ring-end mechanism can reset for another turn with approximately 5° of handle travel. This helps when a bolt can be reached but the surrounding equipment allows only a short swing. The 5° increment is not an angular accuracy rating, calibrated torque value, or guarantee that the handle will fit every tight space; head clearance still has to be assessed at the equipment.

What does 10mm identify?

10mm refers to the width across the flats of a compatible metric nut or bolt head. It is not a declaration that the tool is specifically for an M10-threaded bolt. A buyer should measure the fastener head or check the assembly drawing. Do not substitute a nearby inch measurement or use the tool on a loose-fitting, damaged or rounded head.

When a 10mm ratcheting combination spanner is the useful choice

Repeat-access maintenance and repair

The STMT89936-8B is a practical selection when a 10mm fastener needs repeated manual turns around panel brackets, machine covers, accessible motor guards, pump housings or service fixtures. These are examples of suitable task types, not a claim that this model is approved for a particular motor, vehicle, panel or original-equipment assembly. The ratcheting ring can reduce the need to lift the tool completely from the fastener between incremental turns.

Workshop and assembly work

In mechanical workshops and light fabrication, an open jaw can help with initial access, while the ratcheting ring is useful once the head is safely seated and enough clearance exists. For controlled final clamp load, use a calibrated torque wrench to the equipment or fastener manufacturer's specification: this spanner is not a torque-measuring instrument. The tool is hand-operated; its suitability depends on fastener condition, access, torque requirement and safe working practices.

Kolhapur procurement for multiple technicians

A ten-piece commercial pack may suit a maintenance store distributing the same 10mm size to several tool kits, shifts or repair benches. It does not provide ten different sizes. Buyers who need a broad metric size range should use the https://www.indusmegamart.com/spanners spanner category rather than mistake a ten-piece single-size pack for an assorted wrench set.

Fit, direction and safe use before ordering

Check fastener condition and engagement

Choose a clean, undamaged 10mm fastener head with full tool engagement. A ratcheting ring end is intended for repeated manual fastening movement; avoid hammer blows, pipe extensions, shock loading and trying to break loose a seized fastener with the ratchet gear. Use a suitably rated non-ratcheting hand tool for initial breakaway when appropriate, and follow the equipment's working procedures.

Confirm direction control rather than assuming a lever

The manufacturer establishes a ratcheting combination spanner and 5° increment but does not document a FATMAX-style reversing lever on this exact STMT89936-8B page. Do not assume that it has the same reversal hardware as a different STANLEY series. Check the head orientation and any applicable direction-changing method before selecting it for a task with frequent clockwise/anticlockwise changes. If access depends on a specific low-profile lever, verify the actual unit or choose a separately verified reversible model.

Understand what the product does not specify

The reviewed official page does not establish an exact rated maximum torque, an approved cheater-bar extension, a certified dimensional drawing or a unique gross package weight for Indus MegaMart's ten-piece offer. The City Page therefore does not publish such values. Seller sites disagree on individual-tool weights and some dimensional figures. Avoid using these inconsistent values for tool-clearance decisions without an exact manufacturer drawing.

Indus MegaMart's STMT89936-8B offer is sold as 10 pieces of the same 10mm spanner. This matters when comparing a seemingly lower competing price: some sellers advertise one piece, while others quote ten. Compare tax treatment and the buying unit before concluding that one quoted price is lower. The purchase page displays the active GST amount and stock and provides a PIN-code delivery check.

Stock-sensitive delivery policy

The merchant's purchase policy accepts orders and payment even with insufficient stock. If the ordered quantity does not exceed available stock, its delivery window is within 7 days. If the requested quantity is above available stock, including 0 available units, the stated window is 7–14 days. Confirm the current availability and destination PIN code when ordering, as live store values can change after this content snapshot.

Product identification checklist

Confirm the STANLEY brand, exact code STMT89936-8B, 10mm size, ten identical pieces, actual displayed GST-inclusive pack price and the applicable delivery window. If a quote or tender requires warranty terms, get the terms for the supplied Indus MegaMart lot in writing; different STANLEY regional webpages present different warranty wording for the same product code, so a fixed duration is not stated here.

Common questions about STMT89936-8B 10mm

1. Is STMT89936-8B a FATMAX ratcheting wrench?

No. It is STANLEY's standard STMT89936-8B 10mm ratcheting spanner. FATMAX FMMT-series part numbers identify different products and should not replace this code on the order.

2. Does the Indus MegaMart listing contain 10 sizes?

No. It shows a pack of ten 10mm spanners, not an assortment of ten different metric sizes. Each piece is the same stated model and size.

3. Is ₹475 the GST-inclusive price for one wrench?

No. The displayed ₹475 is the pre-GST per-piece equivalent. At the 26 October 2026 snapshot, the National PDP's ₹5,605 tax-inclusive ten-piece total works out to ₹560.50 per piece including GST. Use the live selling total at checkout.

4. Will the ring end work with little swing space?

The manufacturer specifies a 5° increment, which is useful for short-stroke ratcheting. You still need enough physical space for the head, tool thickness and handle to clear the surrounding assembly.

5. Does 10mm mean it fits all M10 bolts?

No. The size identifies a 10mm fastener head across its flats. Thread designation and head size are different measurements, and the correct fit must be checked independently.

6. Can this wrench be used to tighten bolts to a specified torque?

It can turn a suitable fastener manually, but it does not measure or certify torque. For a specified final torque, use a calibrated torque wrench and the fastener/equipment manufacturer's instructions.

7. Is this exact model confirmed to have a reversing lever?

No reversing lever is verified on the reviewed STANLEY model page. Verify the actual mechanism before ordering if easy direction switching is essential; do not transfer a feature from the FATMAX range.

8. Can I order when the PDP shows zero stock?

Yes. Indus MegaMart's stated policy permits orders and payment even at zero stock. When available stock is zero, the stated delivery window is 7–14 days, rather than the shorter in-stock window.

9. What warranty comes with Indus MegaMart's ten-piece offer?

The applicable seller-specific warranty needs confirmation. STANLEY's India and Asia webpages display different warranty terms for this code, so the City Page does not promise a fixed duration.
