Indus MegaMart lists this model for individual purchase and provides the current GST-inclusive price, quantity selector and purchase controls on the STANLEY 72-061 product listing. Review the displayed tax breakdown and order total for the quantity you need. The 34mm and 36mm openings are part of the same spanner, not two separate tools.
Ordering for a Kerala site or workshop: Enter the delivery PIN code on the product listing, select your quantity and continue through the exact-model Add to Cart process. For maintenance stores or project procurement, confirm the required number of pieces and destination before ordering. If an institutional purchase requires special documentation or coordination, contact Indus MegaMart through its listed sales channel before finalising the order.

Product specifications that matter when selecting this model

The 34×36mm marking describes the two nominal jaw openings, not the tool's overall length. Confirm the actual across-flats dimension of each fastener before choosing a jaw. If your maintenance list specifies only a bolt thread size, do not assume that its head is automatically 34mm or 36mm: head dimensions depend on the fastener specification.

Where a 34×36mm double open-end spanner is useful

This size is relevant to jobs involving suitably sized large hex fasteners, including industrial equipment servicing, mechanical assembly, fabrication-shop maintenance, agricultural machinery servicing and construction-equipment repairs. The open-jaw geometry is particularly useful where access around a nut permits side entry but may not accommodate a fully enclosed ring or socket.
The two ends help technicians switch between two specific fastener head sizes without changing tools. That does not make the jaws adjustable: each opening must match its corresponding nut or bolt head. Choose a different tool where the working clearance, condition of the fastener or required tightening method calls for it.

Choose the correct spanner before placing your order

Check 34mm versus 36mm across-flats fit

Measure the distance across two parallel flats of the fastener head or nut. Use the 34mm opening only on a correctly fitting 34mm fastener, and the 36mm opening only on a correctly fitting 36mm fastener. Do not substitute the nearby STANLEY 72-060 32×36mm model when the task actually calls for a 34mm jaw, even though both models have a 36mm end.

Know when an open-end spanner is the wrong tool

Use the tool for controlled manual turning of appropriate hex fasteners, with the jaw seated fully on the flats. A ring spanner or correctly sized socket may offer more surrounding contact when access allows. For a specified tightening torque, use a correctly selected calibrated torque tool rather than treating this fixed spanner as a measuring instrument. Do not strike the tool, use it as an impact accessory or extend its handle with a pipe. Avoid using an open jaw on badly rounded fasteners, where loss of grip is more likely.

Compare one-piece orders and maintenance quantities accurately

When comparing sellers, check whether a quoted price is for one tool, a multi-piece pack or a minimum-order quantity, and whether GST is included. Indus MegaMart's customer-facing listing offers individual purchase of the 72-061. A larger supplier or catalogue order multiple should not be mistaken for a pack included with every individual tool.

Delivery and procurement for Kerala

Order acceptance is not determined solely by the number of units currently shown as available. Under Indus MegaMart's ordering policy, when the ordered quantity is within available stock, delivery is within seven days; when the order exceeds available stock, including an item showing zero stock, the stated delivery window is 7–14 days. Delivery remains subject to checking the destination PIN code and the conditions displayed during ordering.
For a Kerala plant, workshop, contractor store or maintenance team, checking the destination PIN code and planned requirement together helps avoid buying the right model for the wrong location or quantity. The order invoice includes the seller's GST number. Check the final order and invoice details against your procurement requirements.

Frequently asked questions about STANLEY 72-061

1. Is STANLEY 72-061 a 34mm spanner or a 36mm spanner?

It is one double-ended spanner with both sizes: one opening is 34mm and the other is 36mm. The openings are fixed; they do not adjust.

2. Can I order one STANLEY 72-061, or do I have to order five?

Indus MegaMart lists no mandatory minimum order for single-piece purchase of this product. Other suppliers and trade catalogues may apply different minimum quantities; check the terms of the listing you are actually ordering from.

3. Is the listed product a two-piece set?

No. The two jaw sizes belong to one tool. Select a quantity of two only if you need two individual double-ended spanners.

4. Is STANLEY 72-061 made from chrome-vanadium steel?

Yes. The model's published product information identifies chrome-vanadium steel and a matt finish, with an anti-slip open-end design.

5. How do I check whether 34×36mm is suitable for my bolt?

Measure the nut or bolt head across opposite parallel flats, and compare that measurement with the 34mm or 36mm opening. Do not choose solely from the threaded bolt diameter.

6. Can I use STANLEY 72-061 to achieve an exact tightening torque?

It is a manual open-end spanner, not a calibrated torque wrench. If an assembly specifies a torque value, use a suitable calibrated torque tool and follow the equipment or fastener instructions.

7. Can I strike this spanner with a hammer or add a pipe for leverage?

No. It is not presented as a striking or impact tool. Hammering or extending the handle can create an unsafe loading condition or damage the tool and fastener.

8. Can I place an order if available stock is lower than my requirement?

Yes. Indus MegaMart accepts orders and payment even when the required quantity exceeds available stock. Its stated delivery window in that case is 7–14 days, subject to destination serviceability.

9. How do I check delivery for a Kerala PIN code?

Open the exact product listing, enter your Kerala delivery PIN code in the delivery checker and review the result before completing the order. A Kerala-wide delivery promise should not replace checking the actual destination.
