STANLEY STMT89937-8B 12mm Ratcheting Spanner in Goa - Pack of 10

Price, Pack Quantity and Ordering for Goa

The Indus MegaMart Product Detail Page displays a ten-piece selling pack, not a single 12mm wrench. Its 26 October 2026 price snapshot is ₹4,910 before GST + ₹884 GST = ₹5,794 including GST per pack. That is equivalent to ₹579.40 including GST per wrench; this per-wrench calculation is for comparing costs, not a separate one-piece checkout offer. The manufacturer describes the tool itself as one wrench, which is distinct from the merchant's ten-piece commercial pack. Goa procurement teams should specify the number of packs needed and verify that the checkout quantity reflects the same unit.
The Product Detail Page displayed 50 units available at the research snapshot. Because the site does not explain in the extracted content whether this inventory number counts pieces or sale packs, buyers should use the stock and quantity shown at purchase rather than treating the figure as 50 guaranteed packs. Customers may place orders and complete payment even when the available stock is below their requested quantity.

Delivery timing and stock-dependent orders

Under Indus MegaMart's stated ordering policy, when the requested checkout quantity is within available stock, delivery is within 7 days. When the requested quantity exceeds available stock—including when available stock is zero—delivery is within 7–14 days. For Goa orders, enter the destination PIN code on the National Product Detail Page to check the relevant delivery information. These are the business's standard stock-dependent time windows, not a promise of same-day dispatch or a claim of a Goa warehouse.

What Makes the STMT89937-8B Suitable for Repeated 12mm Fastening?

This model combines an open-ended jaw with a ratcheting ring end. Once the ring is engaged on an appropriately sized fastener head, the ratcheting movement allows successive hand strokes without lifting the wrench away after every stroke. That can be helpful around brackets, machine covers or densely arranged assemblies where repeated repositioning is awkward. The open end provides another way to approach a reachable nut or bolt head when ring access is limited.

A 5° ratchet increment for limited swing room

STANLEY specifies a 5° increment for this exact model. This is the ratchet's small-angle indexing characteristic; it does not mean the wrench will fit every restricted location. Clearance around the ring, handle travel, fastener condition and the load being applied still determine whether it can be used safely.

Maxi-Drive and a full-polished chrome-vanadium body

STANLEY identifies Maxi-Drive as a system designed to help reduce fastener rounding and lists chrome-vanadium steel with a full-polished finish. Correctly matching the 12mm wrench to the across-flats size of the fastener is essential: neither the finish nor the drive system makes a worn or wrongly sized fastener safe to use. Wipe the tool clean after greasy work and inspect the ratcheting end for damage before reuse.

STANLEY STMT89937-8B Technical Specifications

The manufacturer's description of one included wrench identifies the physical product, not the selling quantity at Indus MegaMart. STANLEY has not provided a rated maximum torque for this exact spanner in the reviewed official product listing. Do not use the tool's nominal 12mm across-flats size as a substitute for checking the bolt thread specification or determining tightening torque.

Where a 12mm Ratcheting Spanner Helps in Practice

Automotive and equipment servicing

For accessible 12mm hex fasteners on covers, brackets and ancillary assemblies, the ratcheting ring can make repeated adjustments more convenient than lifting a fixed ring spanner between strokes. Verify the actual head size before use: 12mm refers to the wrench's metric fit, not an assurance that a particular vehicle component or bolt thread uses a 12mm head.

Machine maintenance and fabrication

Maintenance teams may keep this size in tool cribs for pump guards, lightweight support assemblies, inspection covers and equipment mounts wherever an appropriately sized metric fastener is specified. The tool is suited to manual fastening tasks, not impact operation, hammer striking or replacing a calibrated torque wrench for torque-critical joints.

Multi-technician tool distribution

A ten-piece commercial pack can suit plants, service fleets and workshop purchasing teams that need the same size at multiple benches. Confirm whether your requirement is ten 12mm tools or a mixed-size set: this offer is for ten tools of the same 12mm size, not ten different wrench sizes.

How to Check Fit and Choose the Correct Wrench

Match the fastener's across-flats measurement

Check the hex head or nut with an appropriate measuring tool and select 12mm only when that is the correct metric across-flats dimension. A 12mm wrench is not a substitute for a 13mm wrench, and it is not automatically equivalent to a half-inch SAE wrench. If a head is heavily rounded, damaged or corroded, choose the appropriate extraction or maintenance method rather than forcing the ring onto it.

Choose ratcheting versus conventional combination spanners

A fixed combination spanner is appropriate for many straightforward hand-fastening tasks. STMT89937-8B has an advantage where repeated manual turning within a modest handle arc is useful. If fasteners are seized, access is extreme or a precisely specified tightening torque is required, choose the correct specialised tool instead. Avoid attaching a pipe extension, striking the tool or using it with powered impact equipment.

Check the commercial requirement before placing an order

For purchase orders, record the exact part number STMT89937-8B, the required 12mm size, number of ten-piece packs, delivery PIN code and GST billing information. Indus MegaMart's checkout uses the exact National Product Detail Page for the purchase; price and stock should be checked there before payment. Bulk procurement requirements should still be matched against the displayed selling pack.

Availability, Billing and Useful Product Links

Indus MegaMart provides the National Product Detail Page with a visible price, stock presentation, delivery PIN-code field and Add to Cart action. The company's stated operating rules provide for GST-numbered invoices and allow ordering even when inventory is insufficient to fill an order immediately. Frequently Asked Questions — STMT89937-8B 12mm

1. What is the size and exact model of this ratcheting spanner?

It is the STANLEY STMT89937-8B, a 12mm metric ratcheting combination spanner. Confirm 12mm against the actual fastener head's across-flats dimension.

2. Does the Indus MegaMart price buy one wrench or ten?

The National Product Detail Page lists a pack of 10 identical 12mm wrenches. The observed ₹5,794 including GST price is for that pack, not for one wrench.

3. What does the 5° increment mean?

It describes the ratchet indexing angle. A smaller movement between ratchet engagements can help with repeated turning when there is limited handle swing, provided the wrench physically fits the work area.

4. Is this a chrome-vanadium spanner?

Yes. STANLEY's product listing identifies chrome-vanadium steel and a full-polished finish for STMT89937-8B.

5. Can I use the 12mm spanner on any M8 bolt?

Not based on thread size alone. Measure or verify the actual bolt head or nut across-flats dimension; different hardware can use different head sizes. This wrench does not provide a specified torque setting.

6. Can it be used with a hammer, impact wrench or extension pipe?

It is a manual ratcheting spanner. Do not treat it as an impact tool, striking tool or substitute for a breaker bar or calibrated torque wrench.

7. Can I order if the required quantity exceeds available stock?

Yes. Under Indus MegaMart's ordering policy, orders and payment remain possible when requested quantity exceeds available stock, including zero-stock situations. Such orders have a stated delivery window of 7–14 days.

8. What is the delivery window when enough stock is available?

The stated policy is delivery within 7 days where the requested quantity is covered by available stock. Enter the Goa delivery PIN code on the exact product page before checkout.

9. What is the warranty on STMT89937-8B?

STANLEY's regional product pages display inconsistent warranty statements for this model. Confirm the warranty, if any, applicable to the purchased goods with the seller before ordering; no duration is promised here.

10. Where can I purchase the exact 12mm model for Goa delivery?

Use the Indus MegaMart National Product Detail Page for STMT89937-8B, confirm the live ten-piece pack price and delivery information, and proceed through its checkout.
