STANLEY 70-380E 12-Piece Double Open-End Spanner Set in Ghaziabad

Exactly Which 12 Spanner Sizes Are Included?

The model 70-380E assortment is:

There are 12 physical spanners and 24 jaw openings, paired as shown. The range describes its smallest and largest openings; it does not mean every whole-millimetre size from 6mm to 32mm is supplied. For example, 26mm, 29mm and 31mm are not listed. Check any required intermediate head size against the individual pair list rather than assuming it comes in the box.

Construction and Tool Type

The 70-380E is a metric, double-ended open-jaw spanner assortment made from chrome vanadium (Cr-V) steel. Indian product listings describe a matte nickel-chrome surface treatment for corrosion resistance and shaped open jaws for improved contact. Every spanner offers two different open-ended widths: one on each side. It is not a ring spanner set, socket set or calibrated torque-wrench kit.

What do 6×7mm and 30×32mm actually measure?

The measurements are the nominal across-flats widths of the hexagonal nut or bolt head that each jaw is intended to grip. They are not the diameter of the threaded shank. An M-series thread designation alone is insufficient to choose a wrench size because head geometry can vary by fastener standard and component design.

Typical Uses for the 70-380E Set

This assortment can serve maintenance workshops, machine assembly and service benches, plant MRO teams, vehicle-service technicians, fabrication environments and facilities maintenance. A multi-size kit is particularly useful where technicians encounter different correctly sized external-hex fasteners during a shift and want the matching sizes kept together rather than procured as separate loose tools.
Choose a double open-end spanner when the fastener allows side engagement and there is enough clearance for the jaw. If the fastener is seized, rounded, highly loaded or requires a specified tightening torque, use the appropriate ring/socket tool or calibrated torque equipment instead. This set is not marketed as an insulated electrical tool or impact/slogging wrench.

How to Decide Whether This 12-Piece Set Fits Your Job

First, record the actual across-flats measurements of the fasteners you maintain. Next, match each required width to the 12 size pairs above. Check the available swing clearance and whether the tool can be introduced from the side. Finally, decide whether a smaller 6- or 8-piece set, individual spanners, a ring set or a socket system better matches the work. Model 70-380E is most useful when the full 12-pair metric assortment is genuinely required.
For maintenance stores, an itemised size list makes incoming inspection and stock reconciliation easier: check the model marking and count twelve individual tools, including the largest 30×32mm piece. There is no need to infer an additional pouch, case or spare accessory unless your actual quotation confirms it.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Does STANLEY 70-380E contain 12 spanners or 12 sets?

It is a set of twelve individual double open-end spanners. Each tool has two different jaw sizes. Buying one listed set should not be interpreted as buying twelve separate sets.

2. Is every size from 6mm to 32mm included?

No. The set covers the twelve specific pairs listed above; the stated range only identifies its smallest and largest openings. A size such as 26mm is not part of the published assortment.

3. Does this set include 20×22mm, 21×23mm, 25×28mm and 30×32mm?

Yes. All four pairs are included in the independently corroborated twelve-piece 70-380E size breakdown.

4. Is this a chrome vanadium steel set?

Yes. Multiple exact-model product listings describe the set as Cr-V steel with a matte finish and nickel-chrome surface protection.

5. How do I select the correct opening for an M-series bolt?

Measure the bolt head or nut width across its flat faces or consult the specific fastener drawing. Do not assume the wrench size from the nominal thread diameter alone.

6. Can I use the 70-380E for seized bolts or final torque tightening?

A double open-ended spanner is not the best first choice for seized or high-torque fasteners and is not a torque-measuring tool. Use suitable ring, socket or calibrated torque equipment when required by the procedure.

7. Is delivery to Ghaziabad possible when National PDP stock runs out?

Under Indus MegaMart's stated policy, orders and payments remain accepted even with zero available stock; the delivery window is then 7–14 days. Check your exact Ghaziabad pincode in the purchasing flow.

8. What is the price of one STANLEY 70-380E set in Ghaziabad?

The National PDP showed ₹797 including GST on 26 October 2026. Use the live, synchronised checkout price rather than treating this research-date snapshot as a permanent offer.
