STANLEY 70-963E 8PC Combination Spanner Set in Ambattur

What Is Included in the STANLEY 70-963E Set?

This model contains one eight-piece combination spanner set with one spanner of each of the following metric sizes:

The sizes are not a continuous 8–19 mm sequence. In particular, the 70-963E package does not include 12, 15, 16 or 18 mm spanners. Before ordering, compare the fastener sizes on your equipment or maintenance checklist with these eight included tools. If your workplace uses other metric sizes regularly, consider a broader set or the appropriate additional individual spanners.

STANLEY 70-963E Technical Details

The chrome-vanadium construction and matte finish are suitable selection points for an everyday manual maintenance toolkit. The Maxi-Drive and anti-slip features are intended to support improved engagement with a correctly sized fastener. Proper fit and safe working technique still matter; they are not substitutes for a torque wrench where a specified tightening torque must be achieved.

Where This Eight-Piece Set Fits into Daily Maintenance

The 70-963E can be useful for routine workshop and plant maintenance where the job involves accessible nuts and bolts matching the supplied metric sizes. Examples include general mechanical servicing, maintenance of brackets and machine covers, workshop assembly work and selected vehicle-service tasks. It can also serve as an eight-size addition to a technician's standard hand-tool kit.
The open end can approach a fastener from the side when a closed end cannot pass over it. The ring end, where it can be properly seated, surrounds the fastener head and is a useful option when a more enclosed engagement is practical. Always select the exact matching size rather than a nearby size, and stop if the jaws or fastener faces are worn or damaged.

How to Decide Whether the 70-963E Is the Right Set

Choose this model when your list of routine fastening jobs calls for the eight supplied metric sizes and you want conventional hand-operated open/ring combination spanners in one purchase.
Choose a different or additional tool when your work requires 12, 15, 16, 18 mm or larger sizes; uses imperial/SAE fastener dimensions; involves restricted access needing a special profile; or requires measured, controlled torque. A ratcheting spanner, socket, a larger metric spanner set or a torque tool may be more appropriate depending on the fastener and task. Do not apply hammer blows or extension pipes to these conventional hand spanners, and avoid using them as a substitute for a specified torque-control procedure.

2. Does the STANLEY 70-963E set include a 12 mm spanner?

3. What is the difference between a combination spanner and a double open-ended spanner?

A combination spanner has an open end and a ring end on the same tool. A double open-ended spanner has open jaws at both ends. This 70-963E set is a combination-spanner set.

5. What are the material and finish of this set?

STANLEY 70-963E combination spanners are listed as chrome vanadium steel with a matte finish and have anti-slip open-end and Maxi-Drive design features.

6. Is the displayed price for one spanner or all eight pieces?

The product is sold as one eight-piece set, not a single loose wrench. Check the current GST-inclusive set price and quantity on Indus MegaMart before purchasing.

7. Can I order this set for Ambattur if stock is not sufficient?

Yes. Indus MegaMart's order policy permits ordering and payment even when available stock is insufficient. The stated delivery period is within 7 days if stock covers the order and 7–14 days if it does not, including when current stock is zero. Review live details at checkout.

8. Can this set be used on inch-size/SAE fasteners?

It is a metric set. Use the correct fastener size and an appropriate inch-size tool when the fastener requires imperial dimensions; do not force a near-sized metric wrench onto it.
